A dirty filter is the most expensive thing most pool owners ignore. Pressure climbs, flow drops, the pump works harder against the restriction, and eventually the motor pays for it. We track filter pressure every week and service the filter before it gets there.

We service all three filter types

Cartridge filters get pulled, rinsed element by element and inspected for tears and collapsed cores. Most residential cartridges need a proper clean two to four times a year and replacement every few seasons.

Sand filters get backwashed on a pressure schedule, with the media checked for channelling and replaced when it stops filtering properly — typically every five to seven years.

DE filters get backwashed and recharged, with a full tear-down and grid cleaning at least annually. Torn grids are the reason DE ends up back in the pool, and we catch them during tear-down.

Pressure is the tell

We record clean-filter pressure for your system. When the gauge reads 8–10 psi above that baseline, we let you know the filter is due — regardless of what the calendar says — and can service it promptly once you approve.

That single habit prevents cloudy water, weak skimmer suction, poor chemical distribution and a long list of pump problems that look like equipment failure but are really just a clogged filter.
